Recreational Floor: Building Strong, Confident Gymnasts From the Floor Up
Our approach to floor tumbling focuses on developing confident, independent athletes through body awareness, control, and purposeful skill progression.
Rather than relying heavily on spotting, we create opportunities for gymnasts to learn how their bodies move, develop greater control, and take ownership of their skills. By deconstructing skills into achievable progressions, each child is given the opportunity to learn at their own pace and build confidence through genuine success.
This approach allows athletes to develop not only stronger tumbling skills, but also a deeper understanding of movement, technique, and body positioning.
A strong foundation in floor tumbling carries into every area of gymnastics. The confidence, coordination, strength, and body awareness developed on floor directly support a gymnast’s ability to learn and progress throughout the entire gym.
Our goal is not simply to help children perform skills—it is to teach them how to understand, control, and confidently use their bodies as they grow as gymnasts.
